Sunday Service

Sunday Services 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Our service begins with a hymn, the Lord’s Prayer, a vocal solo, and the “Lesson-Sermon” - the heart of each service - read in Christian Science churches worldwide each Sunday by two elected members of the congregation (we have no ordained clergy).

It consists of selections from the Bible and the textbook of Christian Science, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, first published in 1875 by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science. After the lesson-sermon, there’s a voluntary collection, another hymn, and benediction.

Parking is at the rear of the church at Peachblossom and South Washington Streets, or across the street in Idlewild Park.

Child care for visitors under 4 years old is available during the service. If possible, let us know in advance 410-822-1133 so we’ll be prepared to welcome them.

On the second Sunday of each month, join us after the service for conversation and snacks in the Sunday school room.

Visitors are always welcome at our church services, meetings, and Sunday school!
